Welcoming our Kari Kaftan in INDIGO!

Inspired by the 70s iconic Adini Kaftans, these beauties are a classic, easy to wear style. Belt her up for a night out, or wear relaxed and floaty. She is everything you want in a Dress and totally Festival worthy or simply the easiest day dress to just throw on and go.... looking like a bohemian babe.

Hand block printed by our small team of artisans in Rajasthan, using an ancient DABU printing method .

Dabu printing is a technique of hand block printing that employs mud as the resist medium. After the mud printing process, beautiful shades of blue will appear as fabric is soaked in dye baths. Then these beautiful waves of indigo fabric lay out under the brilliant sun for drying, before washing to release the resist. It is a laborious and methodical process involving many steps to get the outcome of a stunning indigo piece.

Everything about this ancient process is magic, and makes them all the more special to wear.

Garment care:

We recommend with Indigo garments, to give 1 or 2 cold hand washes before first wear, to remove any extra dye and prevent any blue staining on skin.

Indigo products will naturally lighten over time, it is a completley normal process of indigo clothing.

Cold Hand wash only with a gentle detergent only when necessary.

Gently wring out.

Hang on a clothes hanger and let dry in a gentle breeze.

Cool iron only inside out.

Do not bleach or tumble dry.

Wear with joy - you are beautiful and one-of a kind.
